Opened in 1910, this four-star luxury hotel on the edge of the Château de Versailles park was where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919. It has 192 air conditioned rooms divided into two buildings: the original 1910 Palace and the Pavillon built in 1990. All rooms are soundproofed, have garden or park views, period furniture, pale walls and floral fabrics, white tile or pink marble bathrooms with heated towel racks, combined bath tub and shower, double basin sinks, bathrobes and hair dryer. Amenities include multi-line phone with modem jack, in-room safe, minibar, video on demand and videogames, satellite TV, and free daily paper. Both buildings are connected via an underground passage to the Trianon Spa, which has a large, heated indoor swimming pool, sun deck, fitness center, sauna, and hair and beauty salon. There are two haute-cuisine restaurants, a bar and a café, with views overlooking the Château de Versailles park. Pampering fit for a king….
